In 2004 election he gained more than 14000 majority votes. Its seems like most of voters in Hulu Selangor consistency believed and trusted on him to bring some changes in the cow boy place.
How about in 2008 election? He lost his parliament seat just for 150 votes! Oh my God. Where is the mistake? Why nearly 14000 voters turn against him but not with other BN state seat candidates in his consistency. All the three ADUN win in this election but Dato G. lost is face to former deputy Menteri Besar Selangor who contested under PKR.
Don’t waste time by researching the reason for is lost! We not need him anymore in Hulu Selangor. Enough is enough. Let BN introduce local player in coming election if can an Indian from PPP or Gerakan or at least from MIC.
Let we go back to 2004. The powerful victory in 2004 made him deputy minister with important portfolio in Pak Lah cabinet. He was backed by Samyvelu to be his deputies in MIC by humiliate Subramniam.
Most of Indian believed he will take over MIC president post after samyvelu. He may the only one full minister from MIC in cabinet if he won 2008 election. But it seems Dato G.’s future is in dark.
Sathanai Thalaivan Samyvelu has announcement recently that he will again contest for the top party post in coming party election. So, there will be no transition of power between no.1 and no.2 as most of Indian thinks.
Samyvelu’s announcement to allow Subra to contest for important party post in coming party election also bringing more questions on Dato G.’s survival in politic.
Samyvelu is willing to work together with Subra to bring bright future to Indian and its good news for us. Indians able to see changes in MIC top management and strategies to win back Indian’s supports to the party.
How about Dato G.? How about his position in MIC? Will he be asked to vacant his post to give way to Subra? OR indirectly Samyvelu will support Subra to contest for the deputy president post in coming party election?
Its will be in any way…but we have to standby to sing BYE BYE to Dato G. forever …….
We hope BERNAMA will create a special post to the former reporter to survive!!!!!
